Bio (Backstory):

Unlike the name would suggest neither a bug nor a bear more like a fang toothed Yeti or Bigfoot (but more fantastical). Historically despised by others for their alliances with goblins and orcs bugbears tend to stick to darkness choosing to surprise attacks and ambushes over head on battle.

Orwyn was once a brash, impulsive, arrogant youngling fuelled by an anger for a world and its abhorrence for him and his kind. But that’s a story for another time.

As years passed and Orwyn grew in age and wisdom, he mastered his particular martial arts and potion brewing becoming a respected teacher at Orwyn’s Dojo and provider of potions, teaching the ways of strength in defence before attack for many a year.

One night, Master Orwyn was seen conversing with a mysterious stranger by a student as they left the Dojo, the next day the students visited the Dojo only to find it burnt to the ground and Master Orwyn no where to be seen, long thought dead. Orwyn now wanders the lands of Stridale, a lonely hermit living on the streets, homeless with only his walking stick and burnt book to his name selling potions for room and board when he’s able to recall them from the broke fragments of his mind.

It’s been a while since Orwyn has had to fight, preferring to avoid conflict unlike his younger self, however under the wrong circumstances and surrounded by the wrong type of people (say a certain Changeling) this youngsters anger may once again rear it’s ugly head, tune into the adventure to see if Orwyn will remember how to fight and how well he can maintain his inter-balance…….
